AI EMPLOYEES

An AI sales employee that works the list you already have — and medical chronologies on hardware we own.

Who this is for: any shop whose money is in the follow-up. A missed call. A quote from March. A name sitting in a database nobody calls. Recruiting a traveler, chasing a roof, reviving a dead lead — it's all sales. Whoever answers first and builds the relationship wins.

You already paid for those leads once. The employee answers them in about ninety seconds day or night, works the old ones nobody has time to call, qualifies against rules you write in plain English, never drops a follow-up, and hands a live one to you the moment somebody's actually ready.

Built inside a working business rather than licensed from a chatbot vendor. Fixed prices published right on this page, a phone number that reaches the person who wrote the software, and a free assessment that will tell you honestly if none of it fits.

The Trades AI Employee

HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, restoration. It answers missed calls and inbound texts in about ninety seconds, books into your real availability, and knows the difference between "my AC is a little loud" and "water is coming through my ceiling right now." Emergencies get escalated. Everything else gets booked while you keep working.

Then it works the list you already paid for — maintenance due, seasonal tune-ups, the quote from March nobody answered. That list is money nobody at your company has time to call.

No per-seat. No annual contract required to start. Live the same week; your number in about 20 minutes.

The Staffing AI Employee

Recruiting is sales with a compliance department. Same employee, wired for the desk: it reactivates the candidates sitting dormant in your ATS and qualifies on rules a recruiter would recognize — licensure and certifications, specialty recency, start window, pay floor, radius, do-not-contact.

Candidate ownership is enforced at send time, so two of your lanes never pitch the same person — and when somebody's genuinely ready to move, the recruiter who owns them gets the whole conversation. The setup fee is that wiring; carrier registration puts go-live at about two weeks.

This isn't a demo. It's been running in production for months.

We didn't build this to sell software. We built it because a business we run needed to sell, and hiring more people wasn't the answer.

Those are actual counts from the messaging database, 1 June to 14 August 2026, not a projection and not a case study. The reply figure is deliberately conservative — it undercounts one inbound channel that doesn't write to the table we counted, so the real number is higher.

What that volume bought is the scar tissue: opt-outs honored everywhere, quiet hours in the customer's local time, frequency caps, silent handoff the instant a human steps in. A robotic first line loses the deal. An AI that texts over your own people loses the customer and embarrasses the desk.

You should not take any of that on faith. Open the live demo and try to make it sound like a bot. It takes four minutes and it will tell you more than any number on a web page.

Then put it on your own number for thirty days against one slice of the list you have already given up on. If it doesn't produce conversations you'd have wanted to have, you're out a month and a fixed fee — and you'll know exactly where the ceiling is.

Not an answering service. An employee.

Every "AI receptionist" on the market does one trick: it texts back when someone texts first. This one runs the whole motion.

It works the database you already paid for. Most businesses sit on years of old leads and past customers nobody has touched. It reads the list, finds the ones worth talking to, and starts conversations. The leads your team never got to are usually where the first deals come from.

It runs outbound at volume without sounding like outbound. Personalized first messages, sent at a human pace, during human hours. None of them are a blast. Nobody replies to a blast.

It holds a genuine conversation. Questions, objections, "who is this?", people going off on tangents — it answers like a person who knows the business, because it isn't walking a script. There is no script.

It qualifies against your rules. You decide what a good lead looks like. It asks the right questions and enforces the rules. The rules live in plain English you can change any time — no developer, no ticket.

It knows when someone is ready. Every conversation is read for intent. Real buying signal — your phone gets the full conversation and you step in. You don't watch a dashboard; the dashboard watches for you.

It never forgets a follow-up. "Call me in October" happens in October — same thread, same context, right on time. This is where most pipelines quietly die. This one structurally can't forget.

It hands off clean. The moment a real person steps into a conversation, the AI goes quiet — no talking over your staff, no double-texting. Step back out, and it picks the follow-up right back up.

If a tool only does the texting-back part, you're shopping for a receptionist. This is an employee.

Questions business owners actually ask

What does an AI answering service cost for a small business?

Ours starts at $500 a month, and the price is published right on this page. No enterprise quotes, no per-seat pricing, no annual contract required to start. Setup on your own number typically takes about 20 minutes. But to be clear about what you're pricing: this is a conversational AI employee — the robotic answering bots that phrase usually describes are a different product at a different standard.

How is this different from the cheap AI receptionist apps?

Most of those were built by developers who have never had to sell anything, and it shows — rigid scripts, robotic replies, customers who bail after two messages. Ours was built inside a business the founder runs, refined against live customers where a robotic message meant losing the deal. It holds a real back-and-forth, and it learns your business over time. The fastest way to tell the difference is to open the live demo. Already tried a cheap one? Start at /not-a-bot.

Can it work the lead list I already have?

Yes — that's the point. Give it your old leads and past customers (a spreadsheet export is fine) and it goes to work: real conversations, proper qualification, follow-ups that never slip, and a text to your phone when someone's ready to buy. Most businesses' first deals with us come out of the list they already own — the one their own team has already worked and written off.

Do you work with healthcare staffing agencies?

Yes — and staffing agencies generally. It was built and proven inside a healthcare staffing operation, but the employee is not healthcare-specific: it answers candidates in about ninety seconds, reactivates the candidates sitting dormant in your ATS, and qualifies on your rules: licensure and certifications, specialty recency, start window, pay floor, radius. $1,000–$2,000 a month plus a $2,500 setup, typically live in two weeks. Everything for staffing agencies.

What does a medical chronology cost, exactly?

$249 for a case under 500 pages, $0.12 per page beyond that, and a hard cap of $900 per case no matter how large the file gets. Firms running ten or more cases a month pay $1,500 monthly for unlimited cases. Your first case — one redacted file from a closed matter — is free. Download a full sample chronology before you talk to anybody.

Do I have to install anything on my phone?

No. Nothing installs on your phone and your phone doesn't change. We text-enable the business line you already have, or catch the calls you miss with standard call forwarding. It works with every phone you'll ever own.

Will customers know they're talking to an AI?

It sounds like a competent human dispatcher and replies in about 90 seconds, day or night. If someone asks directly whether it's an AI, it answers honestly — and a real person can take over the conversation at any moment. Try the live demo and judge for yourself.

What happens when the AI can't handle something?

It hands the conversation to you the moment it should — complex quotes, complaints, anything that needs a human. You're alerted immediately with the full conversation, and you take it from there.

Is it safe to use AI on legal or medical documents?

Our document processing runs entirely on hardware we own and operate in Florida. Client files are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any public AI service, every file access is logged, and deletion runs on a published schedule rather than a promise. That is the whole point of the service. We sign a BAA before any PHI moves, and you can have one in hand before a sales call.

So is Krayon "air-gapped" or not? Give me the precise answer.

Two different services, two different answers, and any vendor who blurs this is telling you something about how they'll handle your data. Document processing: models run on our own hardware, nothing goes to a third-party AI service, no fallback path ships an oversized file to a commercial API. The conversational employee: may use commercial model providers under agreements that prohibit training on submitted content — and text messages necessarily travel over carrier networks, which nobody can honestly claim otherwise about. We don't train on your data in either case. If you want a conversational deployment that also runs entirely on our hardware, that's buildable and priced differently. Full detail.

Can I try it before paying anything?

Three ways, all free: open the live demo and watch it work you like a customer; take the free one-hour assessment and keep the written plan either way; or send one redacted document from a closed case and get the chronology back at no charge.
